SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Dr. Shapiro offers consultations on the use of alternative medicine as an effective approach to health and wellness. Her work is best utilized in conjunction with a primary care physician. She addresses both acute and chronic ailments, including:

ADULTS: Allergies, respiratory & sinus problems, intestinal disorders, fatigue, candida, migraines, stress, arthritis, muscle & joint pain, hypertension, skin disorders, heart disease, prostate health, cancer, anti-aging and wellness promotion.

WOMEN’S HEALTH: Gynecological exams & paps, menstrual disorders, premenstrual syndrome, cystitis, yeast infection, pre-menopausal and menopausal syndrome, natural hormone replacement therapy, osteoporosis, uterine fibroids, and breast and cervical cancer.

CHILDREN:Respiratory illness, asthma, allergies, ear infections, teething, intestinal problems, attention deficit disorder, and general wellness promotion.

OFFICE POLICIES

• Consultation with the physician may be scheduled by appointment only.
  
  
• Our receptionist is available to schedule appointments Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  
  
• Physician office hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 5:30 pm.
  
  
• Fees vary according to the length of the visit, tests performed, remedies, and medications required.
